MUMBAI: Amita Choksi is a well-known television actress. She best known for her role in serials like The Story of Shanti, Mrs. Tendulkar, and Tujhse Hai Raabta .

Soon, she will be seen in Zee TV’s upcoming show Mithaai. The actress will essay the role of a mother.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actress and asked her about her journey, how she bagged the show, and much more.

How was your journey as an actress? Did you always want to be an actress?

Yes, since childhood, it was a dream to become an actor. I wanted to pursue this as my career once I finished my studies. My family supported me a lot and always encouraged me and that’s why I could pursue this career.

How did you bag your upcoming show Mithaai?

I had auditioned for the role. Earlier also, I had worked with the production house and it has been a lovely experience to work with him. I had done a short movie with them. In the past, I have done some loud roles, and this time, I wanted to do a sober role so I accepted the role and grabbed the opportunity. She is a very positive mother and I have never played such a role before.

In the future, if you are given a chance to do a reality show like Bigg Boss or Khatron Ke Khiladi, would you take up the offer?

I love doing reality shows and would love to be a part of it. I would love to do Bigg Boss as it is a very challenging show and it gives huge exposure for an actor. It’s an interesting show to be part of.
