MUMBAI: Ankita Bhargava is a popular name in the showbiz industry. 

The actress has been a part of the entertainment world for several years now and has many memorable roles to her credit. 

Post her wedding with Karan Patel and later delivering a baby girl, Ankita bid adieu to her acting career. 

While fans always wished to see her back on-screen, Ankita is still enjoying motherhood. 

However, Ankita used to often keep her fans updated with her social media posts and how she spends time with her darling daughter Mehr. 

The actress has now ventured into production and her first film as a producer is all set for a release soon. 

Ankita's debut film as a producer is titled Darran Choo which stars her husband Karan in the lead role. 

This is Karan's debut film as a lead and the viewers can't keep calm.

In an exclusive interview with TellyChakkar, Ankit spoke about her personal life.

We have seen Karan romancing some beautiful divas on-screen. 

When asked Ankit if she has complaints from her husband for not being romantic in real life. 

Ankita said, ''Karan is a romantic hero on-screen but in real life he is the most unromantic person. He can't plan a dinner date or anything. He never proposed to me. Ours was an arranged marriage.''

She continued, ''When I told him, I need a proposal. I remember we were at a club with some friends and were making an exit. We were in a parking lot. It was a bit dark there and he went down on his knees and proposed to me. And I said, 'Whatever'.''

Talking about how she and Karan have faced trolls, Ankita said, ''We were under scrutiny for almost one year after we got married. I have faced terrible trolling for marrying Karan because he was such a big star. His pairing with Divyanka was such a huge hit.''

When asked how she dealt with such negativity, she said, ''I am very good with compartmentalising. I used to ignore such negative comments and it was simple. It's something that I have developed over the years as an actor and it works for me. But silence is sometimes actually the key.''

Lastly, when asked how Karan used to react to all this, Ankita said, ''He would really get mad seeing all this and I used to ask him to calm down. That first year was difficult but it then settled down. I guess after a while they realised that we are going strong. We are in love and the marriage is going well and so they stopped trolling us.''
