MUMBAI: Many Television actors who attain a lot of fame with time, sometimes decide to take conscious breaks, while some make successful comebacks, and some slowly fade away, but many manage to remain relevant.

Actress Deepika Singh Goyal, who became a household name with her role as Sandhya Rathi, on Diya Aur Baati Hum, took a long break from acting some time ago and it has been a while since we have seen on her TV.

TellyChakkar recently caught up with the actress to ask about her comeback on TV, her association with Jay Mehta and Kinari Mehta, and more.

Talking about her, husband directing a show for Jay and Kinari Mehta, and their association, she said, “It is not a new association, because Jay sir and Kinari Mam, were the makers behind Jiji Maa, as well, and Rohit directed that as well, and now Dori is coming out and I am so happy, because it is like a family only, and we have had a long-standing relationship with them, and they call us with so much love verytime, Infact, Soham was very young, when Rohit was directing Jiji Maa, and many time, I would take him to the set and we met Kinari Mam, so many times, it is always a lot of fun. And just best wishes to the team of Dori, and in fact Rohit is directing a show after a long time, and I want this to become a hit, and the story is so nice, I’ve seen some cuts, the artists are so nice, and it looks so exciting and it is based out of Banaras, even I am waiting”.

When asked about her comeback, she said, “I am having a lot of fun in life, I am very content, but yes, if a good role comes my way, then we will see and I will consider, and I have taken a break in between, but yes, I look to see, if there is something good. Otherwise, I am very happy in my life right now.”

When asked about her interest in reality shows, she said, “Now, That Soham is a little grown up, I have gotten free hand a bit, now I can do them. I have shown a little bit of interest, not completely, depends, let’s see, whatever offers more money, she said jokingly”.

Deepika was last seen in a movie called Titu Ambani and fans of the actress have praised her performance.
