MUMBAI:  Colors TV is back with another promising show called Sherdil Shergill. The show stars Surbhi Chandna and Dheeraj Dhoopar in lead roles. The show narrates the story of Manmeet and Raj. The story is up for an exciting drama.

Sushmita Banik, known for the show Janani, recently entered the show as Nisha. Tellychakkar recently got in touch with the actress and got to know interesting insights.

What can the audience expect from the upcoming track?

“The audience cannot expect just one thing. My entry was a turning point in the plot. There will be a whole lot of things and emotions that will take place in the upcoming track. You might get to see Nisha and Raj getting engaged as well.”

You started out with modeling. Do you ever wish to go back to it?

“I started out with modeling but not ramp walks, I did print shoots. I definitely wish to go back to it. I would never like to leave something I started out with. Whenever I get a chance, I will go for it.”

What kind of roles and projects do you look forward to? What is in the works for the future?

“I like to play different types of characters. Before this, in the show Janini I played a woman who is independent and is not afraid to voice her thoughts. I would love to play such characters in the future as well in which the character has a different mindset. The mindset isn’t wrong but it might feel so to the older generation. Although it would be correct according to modern times.”

“I will be doing a Punjabi film soon. The shoot has not begun but the other procedures are done with.”
