MUMBAI: Amita Choksi is a well-known television actress. She is best known for her role in serials like The Story of Shanti, Mrs. Tendulkar, and Tujhse Hai Raabta .

Soon, she will be seen in Zee TV’s upcoming show Mithaai. The actress will essay the role of a mother.

Tellychakkar got in touch with the actress and asked her about her views on social media and which is a dream character, and much more. 

Social Media is a medium where an actor gets to interact with the fans but at times the fans do cross their limit and they become negative by trolling; so what is your thought over it? 

Being on social media there is always advantage and disadvantage.  The advantage is that as actors we can communicate to our fans but then at times ye, the trolls can get harsh, but how one takes positive comments in the similar way one should be taken the negative comments too and shouldn’t be affected with the scenario and take everything with a pinch of salt. 

The digital platform is going way ahead and do you think that the OTT platform will take over the business of Bollywood and Television? 

The business is already started to get affected, people are moving towards OTT as now everything is going to be on mobile and life as become so competitive and everyone wants to watch things in a comfortable way and OTT gives that to the audience. 

Do you have any dream role that you would want to essay in the future and who is the dream director and actor you would love to work with? 

I have many dream roles that I would love to play, mainly there should content-driven. But I would love to play a negative character someday as there is so much to do in the role and something different to do. 

I would love to work with Amitabh Bachchan someday one day as I am a huge fan and would like to be directed by Anurag Kashyap. 

Well, we hope that Amita gets to work with Big B someday.
