MUMBAI: Fanaa - Ishq Mein Marjawan, which launched on Colors a few months ago, is doing pretty well. The show stars Zain Imam and Reem Shaikh in the lead roles. 

The show is based on the movie Darr but not completely. Only the concept has been taken from the movie. 

It is produced by Gul Khan under the banner of 4 Lions Production. 

These days, the track is very interesting. Pakhi has learnt about Agastya’s cunning plans. Thus, she tries to blackmail him and tries to find out the truth. 

Manoj Chandila is a well-known actor and model. He is known for playing the role of Dr. Manoj Paul in Star Plus show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. 

Recently, he has entered Fanaa - Ishq Mein Marjawan, where he essays the role of Ranjit Singh.

TellyChakkar got in touch with the actor and asked him about how he bagged the show and about his bond is with his co-stars. 

How did you bag the show? 

The first time I had given an audition, it didn't go well and I wasn't selected for the show. The second time they called me, I didn't have the courage and I was busy doing some other show. But when they called me the third time, I was available and could do the show. As they say, I got third time lucky.

How is your bond with your co-star, considering you just joined? 

It wasn't difficult at all, as everyone on the sets is wonderful. But we don't get to interact much, as when I am shooting, they aren't. I have shot with Akshat, and he is a very good human being and very charming. I met Reem only briefly. Zain is also a good guy. Even the producers are so supportive and it's a good environment to work in. 

What message do you have for your fans as they would be seeing you in a new role? 

I just want to request them to watch the show. They will be happy to see me in the new avatar of a cop. It's a very different role.

The audience has given it a thumbs-up. They love the new concept and the performance of all the actors.
