MUMBAI: As we know now, the latest addition on the sets of Apna Time Bhi Ayega is being witnessed with the new character who's being enacted by telly actress Pooja Khare.

In a recent interview, actress Pooja revealed how she bagged her new role in Apna Time Bhi Ayega, the 'character-sketch' of the individual she'll enact herein and her bonding with the show's lead actors - Megha Ray and Fahman Khan; who pay the lead couple of Rani and Veer herein.

Talking about her bagging of the role, Pooja expressed immense gratitude for her casting director Prince Modi, who locked her for this role on the show. Revealing the entire process, she said, "One of the casting directors of this show, Mr. Prince Modi,...he has casted me. So, he saw the potential and the channel's people saw my potential. I sent the audition in Rajasthani language because they wanted that language...that kind of a background they needed. So I sent an audition on that so he selected me on that basis...and then I was locked."

Since the show's based on a Rajasthani backdrop, Pooja's character in the show would be addressed as 'Kaaki Sa'.

The actress further shared that according to the show's latest twist, the Rajawat family's members would be moving to a village wherein she resides. Hence, she'll be seen as the Rajawat family's close neighbour in the village. "A very 'close' neighbour...like as a friend jo inki yeh journey mein help kar rahe hai, to take care of them.", she shared about her on-screen character.

Opening up on her attempt of breaking the chain of being typecast as a rich lady, Pooja expressed, "I wanted this 'desi look'...and I wanted to break through that because I was being typecast to look rich. That's why I accepted like 'No, I will play this role'."

Talking about her character's role, Pooja added, "We have come to add spice to the running show...we add a lot of drama, a lot of spice...." On playing the typical villager neighbour to the Rajawat family, she said, "They're helpful sometimes, they're poky sometimes...curiosity is there and they want to help also, be in the good books also. So, it's like a comedy also, a little bit spicy also, but overall very positive."

Lastly, within just ten days of shooting with team Apna Time Bhi Ayega, Pooja is overwhelmed about her off-screen bonding with co-stars Megha Ray and Fahman Khan, who play the lead couple in Apna Time Bhi Ayega. Talking about the same, Pooja exclaimed, "Oh My God!! It is wonderful...because I have made friends with them." 

Their bonding is so good that they have now progressed from friends to 'lifelines'. She further added, "We shared so many things...we were sharing food and stuff and lot of things."
