After quitting the show, when we caught up with the actor, he got chatty with us and was all praises about the CID team. “It was a wonderful experience to work with such talented actors in the team. CID is a show which is running for sixteen long years. If I ever get a chance to work again with the team I will grab the chance for sure”. “We used to have so much fun on the sets during our break. All of us were fun loving and foodies and as soon as we ended our shots we used to be in an absolute different avatar”, added the actor, cherishing the memories of his CID days. He also shared his thoughts about joining the show. “Before CID, I mostly acted in those shows, where I essayed romantic roles. I wanted to break that image and do something new. Most of the daily soaps nowadays are women centric, where men hardly have any roles to play. And CID is all about thriller and action, where I had the chance to perform”. The actor went on further to add, “I portrayed the role of a stylish cop in the show and did it purposely. I wanted my character to look trendy and stylish and I am thankful to the makers who had allowed me to do so”. The actor, who now in a post-birthday mood and in his hometown for a break, candidly added, “Well I am ready to settle down anytime soon. It’s just that I cannot find any good girl. I think girls don’t like guys, who are workaholic like me. As soon as I find someone I am ready to get hitched”. We wish you luck Gaurav for your career and hope that you find your dream girl soon.
