MUMBAI : It has been a while since TellyChakkar.com reported about the cast of Hamari Bahu Silk facing the non-payment issues. The cast and crew were hopeful that after media rigorously covering the topic, the producers will release their payments but to their dismay it didn’t happen.

It has been months but the cast and crew are still suffering the issues. Zaan Khan who played the lead role in the show said, “No number of requests, bashings, bad publicity and plight of the poor have affected the stone hearts of the producers. Still we don’t have any clarity about the issue. It makes my heart and head heavy to think about such people. It’s extremely angering, disheartening and disappointing”.

An actor on the request of anonymity said, “Every night I sleep with a thought that maybe the next day producers will have pity on the team and they will release the payment. There are days when I follow up with them and the other cast members for hours and all at the end we all get only one reply ‘pata nahi kab hoga’. It fills me with rage thinking about the producers having a ball of a time with our hard-earned money. At times I wonder if they are even scared of god or do they even believe in the karma cycle. It's depressing to another level.”.

Well, now the cast and crew has decided to revolt against one of the producers Jyoti Gupta by arranging a silent sit up outside his office. Zaan said, “Well, I’m planning to incorporate and organise it properly by keeping social distancing in mind. I hope that all of us get our hard-earned money as soon as possible”.
