Powerhouse of acting Sakshi Tanwar, currently seen in Code Red Awaaz (Sunshine Rise Productions) on Colors, has recently undergone a character change in her show. In the flashback, it has been shown how her character in Code Red was related to Kabir (Yash Sinha).

Post the changes introduced in the show, we spoke to Sakshi and the pretty lady shared her thoughts about her story in the series. “So far, my character has been portrayed as Kabir’s inner voice and that I believe has raised lots of curiosity among the audience as to how I am connected to Kabir. Hence, the creative team decided to provide an explanation of how my character is related to Kabir and hopefully we will be able meet our viewers’ queries. Moreover, these kinds of twist have never been shown in any crime drama, so, I believe this will be interesting for them as well. Even I am looking forward to the audience’s reaction”.

As the viewers would know that Sakshi is now being shown as a fearless, empathetic editor of a publication, so we quizzed her how far she is similar to her on screen portrayal and the talented actress replied, “I always speak my mind and I am never scared to raise my voice against what is wrong. Even my character in Code Red is also like that, in that way I am similar to my on screen character”.

Do you think that after doing a series like Code Red, your social responsibility has increased and Sakshi quipped, “According to me irrespective of the fact what my profession is, what my social status is, as a responsible citizen we all have certain duties to fulfil. And it is the fact that people look up to public figure even more. And being a celebrity we should utilize our potentials to do something for the betterment of our society. I have always tried to do that and will continue with it”.

Before signing off we asked the lady about not being active on social media which has become a huge platform to interact with fans. Sakshi answered, “I don’t prefer to share my personal life with others, and I intentionally keep myself away from such platforms. I never interfere in anyone’s life hence prefer to keep mine under warp as well”.
