The very bubbly and lively Umang Jain is all set to make her comeback with Zee TV’s upcoming action thriller based series Maharakshak Devi.

At the press meet of the show, an excited Umang spoke about her role, comeback, action and more.

The actress shared, “My role of Devi is very different than me in real life. I am a very bubbly, live hearted girl and role of Devi is totally in contrast of me. So that’s a challenging part for me. For an actor to play a role like is Devi Is something larger than life.”

Why it took so long to make a comeback? “I was concentrating on my studies but meanwhile I did lot of commercials which have been learning ground for me. I even did few regional and Bollywood films.”

What preparations have you gone through to essay the role? “I will not deny that I had gone through lot of preparations. It was little handy for me as I was brown belt in karate, back in school. I am a huge Jackie Chan fan and I have grown watching him. And when this role was offered to me, I just could not say no.”

What are your expectations from this show? “Honestly, I have no expectations from the show. I just want to excel as an actor and give my hundred percent to the show. And according to me expectations shifts your focus and makes you work under pressure.”

Any phobia you have in life? “I have a fear of animals, insects and creepy reptiles but thankfully we have been liberal with animals in our show.”
