I am never content with my work and want to keep working all my life - Pratyusha Banerjee

Pratyusha Banerjee
Playing a character that you can relate to is always a treat. And TV’s pretty actress Pratyusha Banerjee recently enjoyed the same. The actress will be seen playing a small town girl coming to Mumbai to live her dreams of becoming an actress in tonight’s episode (11 July) of Zing’s Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya. The show produced by Lost Boy Productions depicts the tale of love and how it can take someone to the verge of committing a crime. Talking more on that, the lovely girl shared, “The feel of how a small town girl comes to a big city and tries to settle down alone, made me feel nostalgic. I have also gone through the same trying to adjust to the culture of the city and industry.” Pratyusha’s character faced a lot of difficulties in her life, and we wondered if that was the same with her. “God had been really sweet to me for I never had to struggle or face any issue in my life with regard to my career. I was in the comfort of my home chilling, when the offer of Balika Vadhu came my way. It has been a good sail throughout.” The petite actress who also enjoyed her stint in reality shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Bigg Boss is on the lookout for good projects. “I was never really keen on doing episodics, but the character was superb. I want to do roles that give me creative satisfaction and let me present my potential to the viewers.” “I have done fiction, reality, episodic and also hosting (an episode of MTV Webbed) and I feel I will do all of them again and again. I am never content with my work and I want to keep working all my life trying every kind of characters,” she replied. We asked Pratyusha whether she would like to give any advice for girls who move to Mumbai with acting dreams in their eyes. “Keep your focus; have faith in yourself. And always follow the right path and with your hard work you can surely win the world.” Finally with her show presenting the dark side of love, we asked the actor can love actually lead one to commit a crime. “Yes it can. If love takes the face of madness it can go to any level.” True it is, Pratyusha!
