The very bubbly and vivacious Ashita Dhawan, who is coming back to TV after her maternity break with Director Kut’s Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya on Zee TV, looked radiant with excitement during the launch event of her show. Talking on the same, Ashita avers, “I play the daughter of the house, Saawri, and similar to my character in Bidaai, I have a funny takia kalam in this show also. The character is a very positive one who is also naughty to the core. She is outspoken and can say anything to anyone, although she knows her limits very well.” “Saawri is the shaan of her family and is actually the live-wire. She is loved by one and all. People will really look forward to my character to come on screen and she will be the spice element with no negative traits in her. Overall, it’s a fun character and it’s real fun playing it,” shares the pretty mom of a year old twins. Since her character as Malti bhabhi was much loved, her fans expect quite a lot from her with this comeback role. However, refusing this fact, Ashita states, “There’s nothing like that, as I have been working continuously and had just been on a break for my babies. The expectation to deliver again lies only with me, as I have the challenge to live up to my previous work.” The fun-loving girl that she is in real life, Ashita simply loves this trait. “Oh I just love it; I am very similar in my personal life also. My friends look forward to have me in the group when we go out, and I love all the attention. The character is very energetic and since it’s a close-knitted family, Saawri will be closely involved in all the happenings even though she will be settled in her in-laws place.” On choosing this show to be her comeback vehicle, Ashita explains, “It’s amazing; I have always maintained that I am God’s perfect child. I could have got better roles, better money but nothing stands up to my comeback with Rajan (Shahi) ji’s show.
