MUMBAI: Usually actors are known from their characters that they have played on screen. However, Hina Khan, who became a household name with her stint in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai as Akshara, is now remembered more as Hina Khan.

And that change of mind happened post her stint in Colors’ Bigg Boss season 11 and Khatron Ke Khiladi.

It was surprising to see the other side of Hina which people never explored. From Khaton Ke Khiladi we understood that Hina, who played an ideal bahu on TV, is an adventurous and a brave girl. In Bigg Boss, we saw how Hina has a very sporting spirit and that she quite opinionative.

Along with her career graph, the actress has equally impressed us with her physical transformation. Hina is still remembered for a glamorous look in Bigg Boss.  It was a big surprise for her fans when she entered this season of Bigg Boss along with Hiten Tejwani.

Before entering the show, TellyChakkar got into a quick conversation with Hina.

We asked the lady, if Bigg Boss show has helped in her career, she replied, “Bigg Boss show has helped in transforming but it did not change my life. Tough wood, I have done well for myself. I have done a hit show for eight long years and later did Khatron Ke Khiladi and then Bigg Boss. It helped me in transformation and I would always give the credit to Bigg Boss as I got lot of appreciations and awards once I was out.”

Sharing tips for contestants to sustain in the house, she shared, “Just don’t stay or shy away from anything. It is normal to make mistake. In this house you cannot be perfect so just be yourself.”

Talking about the Jodi concept and her favourite contestant, she said, “Well, It is too early to decide who will win or who will perform well. My only reason to watch Bigg Boss is entertainment. Since I have lived in the house, I am not going to judge or write about anyone. Even if someone does wrong in the house they will pay for it and Bigg Boss will make sure of it.”

What do think of Hina Khan?

“If I had to choose a Jodi, I would like to enter the house along with Rocky (Jaiswal). He is very smart, calm, and patient and knows how to handle things much better than me. We are balanced for each other aur Jodi ka matlab hi wahi hai.” she ended.
