Currently, Smita is a part of Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga playing the part of Siddharth Nigam’s mother. In an exclusive conversation with Smita, we spoke to her about her experience shooting for the show and her bond with Siddharth.

MUMBAI: Actress Smita Bansal has worked in an array of television shows and has quite some performance based roles to her credit.

Smita has been a part of path breaking shows such as Kora Kagaz, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii, Kohi Apna Sa, Sanjivani, Kasautii Zindagii Kii, Balika Vadhu and was more recently seen in Nazar and Yeh Jaadu hai Jinn Ka. Currently, Smita is a part of Aladdin: Naam Toh Suna Hoga playing the part of Siddharth Nigam’s mother.

In an exclusive conversation with Smita, we spoke to her about her experience shooting for the show and her bond with Siddharth.

Smita said, “My character of Ammi has been very strong. She is emotional as a mother but she is also very strong headed and has inculcated the right values in her son. From two years the character has grown. While she would always tell her son about things being right and wrong, she now takes a stand for herself and her family.”

On working with Siddharth, Smita added, “Siddharth is a very hardworking and lovely boy. Our on-screen bonding is so beautiful and that is because off-screen very are very close to each other. We both are protective for each other and he being young and so passionate sometimes, in the flow of the stunt or scene might end up hurting himself. He never complains or has even asked for a bandage if he’s hurt and enjoys his work. So yes, I do have a motherly emotion towards him.”

Since the actress was also very fond of Avneet, we asked Smita if she misses shooting with her.

Smita shared, “ I do miss shooting with Avneet (Kaur). We shot with her for over a year so yes, I do miss having her around. “

Well said Smita! (Also Read: Siddharth Nigam is SURROUNDED by POSITIVE PEOPLE like Ashi Singh and Smita Bansal!)
