The very charming and pretty Juhi Chawla, who has been roped in as the face of Multiscreen Media’s new GEC Sony Pal, was all praise of her association with a project that promises to bring a change in current television scenario. “Thankfully, the content is not similar as there are no vague saas-bahu tiffs. Of course since it’s a GEC, the ‘entertainment factor’ remains but the shows will try to uplift thoughts of viewers. Personally, I find episodes are wasted fighting over bangles. That’s not how real life is and the channel will thus try to bring out real human stories. The challenges that people face in real lives will help them connect to the serials. I feel a show should have great performances that can impress viewers. Apart from that if it can define family value nothing beats that,” shared Juhi. When asked about the kind of shows she likes on TV, the beautiful actress quipped, “I feel there are many well written shows on TV. Mahadev and Jodha Akbar are well produced. I also tried watching Yudh, but then Amitji (Amitabh Bachchan) looked really dull and I usually enjoy watching him all lively. But the promotional ads for KBC show him in great light.” “Apart from that I enjoy reality shows. The most is obviously comedy ones. In our stressful life it’s always a great pleasure to get some laughter. It’s good to see some funny stuff and earn some smiles for me,” averred Juhi with a great smile. So will she ever be a part of a fiction project on television? “I have been telling the Sony Pal people to offer me a show (laughs). I don’t really know what kind of projects I will be offered in the coming days but yes I would surely like to do a bright and happy character that will make people smile.
