MUMBAI:Imlie is one of the top shows and is doing well when it comes to the ratings. The show took a 20-year leap a while ago; we now get to see a new grown-up Imlie, played by Adrija Roy and Agastya played by Sai Ketan Rao.

When the serial had just taken a leap the show was doing well and it was among the top five shows when it came to the TRP ratings and the audience was in love with the love story of Agastya and Imlie which had just begun.

But now suddenly a twist was introduced in the serial and Agastya's character was scrapped all of a sudden and suddenly the love story came to an end and a new character "Surya" was introduced by the makers of the show.

The storyline is focussing on the complexity of the marriage surrounding Imlie and Surya and how they are dealing it.

If one remembers Imlie Season 1 and 2 both had a love triangle angle. In season one it was between Imlie - Aryan - Aditya. In season 2 it was between Atharv - Imlie - Seerat.

But when the third season began the one thing that was missing was the love angle part.

Recently, they introduced a new character of Anjali who is the love interest of Surya and the audience feel that once ageing the love angle is started and this could raise the TRP or bring it down as earlier seasons had good TRP and the story line focused on the love triangle.

Sheena Dixit: I am not surprised that a love triangle has been introduced in the show as this is what works for the serial and could help in boosting the TRP ratings of the show and it worked for the previous two seasons.

Pooja Shah: I am done with this concept of love triangle as I have seen it in the past two seasons. The makers should come up with something different. This is getting boring.

Aditi Malhotra: I think this track could boost the TRP ratings as the last two seasons worked because of it but I feel it's getting repetitive and when the love triangle angle wasn't there it felt like we were watching something different but then i’m not surprised with the new track.

Prerna Singh: I feel the makers could have come up with something new but the same old concept of a love triangle has come in and this could either boost the TRP or could get the audience bored.

Well, there is no doubt that the sudden change in the story of the show and the introduction of a love triangle has made the audience confused.
