MUMBAI: Actor Sanjay Batra, who has played roles in many popular TV serials like Jyoti, Balika Vadhu, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon, Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai and many more, has bagged his next.

According to our sources, the actor will soon enter SAB TV’s cop-based comedy show Maddam Sir which is produced by Jay Mehta Productions.

The show is currently revolving story around a girl played by Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala fame Myra Singh who wants to pursue her career in acting.

We Sanjay has been roped in to play his father’s role in the show.

Madam Sir's story is a police investigation comedy which revolves around how an all-female cop station, Aminabad Police Station, uses their intelligence and bravery to solve cases.

The lead role of Inspector Hasina Mallik (S.H.O) is played by Gulki Joshi and the role of the Sub-Inspector Karishma Singh is played by actress Yuktii Kapoor. The role of Pushpa Singh (head constable) is played by actress Sonali Naik who was last seen in Colors’ Gathbandhan and the character of Santosh Sharma (lady constable) is played by Bhavika Sharma who was last seen in Star Bharat’s Jiji Maa serial.
