Justin is a hopeless romantic guy: Sumit Kaul

Sumit Kaul

Talented actor Sumit Kaul, who is currently impressing audience with his show, Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat (Contiloe) on Colors, is definitely one actor who unlike his on screen avatar Justin, follows his call and believes in achieving success on his own.

As we spoke to the actor about his journey in Ashoka, we discovered more of his strong will power. Leaving his established family business, he followed his dream of becoming an actor and made his own career.

Completely contrasting from Justin (on screen), Sumit shared his thoughts about his character. “If you look at the character of Justin intently then you will realize that he is a man who does not have much will power to do anything on his own. Rather, he is happy with the thought that someday he will become the King if backed up by his mother. On the other hand, I am a kind of person, who loves to take charge of the situations and can make his own decision.”

“Moreover, I believe that my character Justin is a hopeless romantic guy. He has fallen head over heels for Noor (Ankita Sharma), while Noor never pays much attention to him. I don’t feel Justin to be an absolutely negative individual rather he is one, who has mostly been guided by others,” added Sumit.

When we asked him about his favourite negative character, the actor without giving a second thought said that it is Shakuni from Mahabharata. Sumit added, “I think in Hindu mythology Shakuni can be considered as negative Chanakya. He is one man, who was wronged by many hence I find his character to be an interesting one. And I think that if I ever get the chance of playing the same character I will do it.’

Finally we quizzed him about becoming a King for a day and the man showed us that he has his humor in the right place. Sumit candidly replied, “Why will I prefer to become a King for only one day, why not for lifetime. And if I ever become so, I will achieve it with my own qualities.”

On that note, we wish the confident actor all the success in his career.
