Check the slideshow above Debutant Kaanchi Singh, the protagonist of Rajan Shahi’s newest offering on Zee TV, Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya is a daring personality for sure. The actress was recently required to shoot a stunning sequence standing on a thin ledge placed on the fifth floor of a building. The scene was wherein Avni (essayed by Kaanchi) gets into a life-threatening situation where she is stranded on a ledge at a great height. This is when the hero Raj, played by Mishkat Varma comes and saves Avni. Sources from the set reveal that from the moment this particular scene was narrated to Kaanchi, she simply refused to use a duplicate to enact the sequence. She readily agreed to do the stunt sequences herself, even though the Producer Rajan Shahi, the directors and the action master were apprehensive of letting Kaanchi do the sequence. However, it was Kaanchi’s confidence that gave them the belief. With a harness tied on to her and all the necessary precautions being taken by the production team, Kaanchi simply stole the show as she not only managed to stand on the ledge placed on the 5th floor, but also did the stunt sequences with great finesse. Says our source, “The entire unit of Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya was so proud of Kaanchi that they clapped and appreciated her once her shot got over.” When contacted, Producer Rajan Shahi (Director's Kut Productions) had some great words for this daredevil act of Kaanchi. “I really thought she could not pull this scene, as it was very dangerous. But Kaanchi insisted on doing it, and we had no option but to trust and believe that she will make it. And that is exactly what she did. She carried out the stunt sequence so brilliantly, standing at such a height, that too on a thin ledge. Viewers need to watch the sequence to see the efforts put in by the girl.” We tried calling Kaanchi, but she remained unavailable for comments. This particular stunt sequence will go on air in Monday’s episode (20 January 2014) of Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya.
