Khatron Ke Khiladi to replace Guinness World Record

Akshay Kumar and Preity Zinta
After a lot of speculation about Salman Khan replacing Akshay Kumar in Khatron Ke Khiladi it’s been confirmed that Akshay will be back on the show. Though it was the hot Priyanka Chopra who did the last season the top actor noted for his action sequences will be back on the show. This season called Khatron Ke Khiladi-Torchaar will have thirteen commoners unlike the other seasons which had only celebs. The guys will be with thirteen hot babes and the winner will get an opportunity to perform in a soft drink campaign with Akshay Kumar. This season promises to be a lot more extreme and adventurous as it is going to be a mixture of drama and adventure. A source says, “The male contestants on the show are going to be commoners but the female contestants are TV celebrities. The show will go on-air in mid May and the shooting for the same will start in South Africa from mid April or end of April. It will be a weekend show and it will be telecast every Friday and Saturday in the 9pm to 10pm slot. The slot currently airs Guinness World Records Ab India Todega. The winner will get a cash prize and an opportunity to star with Akshay in the ad.” Talking about his comeback Akshay says, “It feels good to be back to my home ground with Khatron Ke Khiladi as it is exciting to do something which I love to do – adventurous stunts. As the name suggests it will be ‘torchaar’ to the core and the boys will be expected to perform some really edgy stunts. The girls too can shed their vanities and nervous giggles and be prepared to face challenges thrown their way. I am going to be absolutely tough and brutal with the boys and yes it will be worth watching.”
