MUMBAI: We are still a state of shock over Kushal Punjabi's suicide. The actor was found dead in his flat, hanging by a fan when his parents accompanied by Chetan Hansraj opened the door with a duplicate key.

The irony is that Kushal looked absolutely fine even the night before; he actually had dinner and drinks with his Dad (Vijay) at his Khar flat (Kushal resided in Pali Hill). And what did they talk? Well, a lot of things here and there like any father and son would, but the main topic was that Kushal needed to be hospitalised.

The medical condition in question was a dislocated shoulder. Kushal had injured himself in the Circuit Race he had participated in a few days before his demise.

We pray that the actor's soul rests in peace and that his family has the strength to cope with this loss.
