The beautiful actress, who shot to fame as Nakusha from Laagi Tujhse Lagan that aired on Colors, turned a year older yesterday, on 1 April 2012. “At least people remember my birthday. But I have to admit that my friends do tease me on being born on April Fools’ Day, but for the olds ones it gets easier to remember the date,” Mahhi reveals to Tellychakkar.com. Talking about how she commemorated the occasion, she says: “There wasn’t any party as Jay (Bhanushali) is busy shooting for Kairi and DID (Dance India Dance) and he doesn’t get time.” But she did celebrate on the day before, 31 March 2012 which was a family affair with only Jay and her mother. “The most memorable gift I received was the solitaire that Jay gave and a photo frame which had Jay and my picture in it, which my sister gifted me.” She further says she was with her mom the whole day and cut almost 5 cakes. As for the birthday bash, “We will have one big party sometime around our anniversary (11 November) and we will celebrate both the occasions together,” ends Mahhi.
