MUMBAI: The show Hamari Wali Good News has resulted in some personal ‘good news’ for actor Manish Goel as it has reunited him with his old friends Juhi Parmar and Shakti Anand. 

While their reunion has resulted in a lot of masti and mazaak, it also gave them a unique photo op. 

Manish, who had clicked a groupfie with Shakti and Juhi two years ago, ‘framed’ them yet again when the trio met on the set of Hamari Wali Good News. The actor shares, “Two years ago, we had gone to Varanasi to promote our respective shows - Juhi and I for Tantra and Shakti for his show. We had clicked a picture then and a few days ago, we again posed for a similar shot.”.

Interestingly, this is Manish’s fifth show with Juhi. They were last seen together in Tantra two years ago. While they played spouses in that show, this time he is seen as Juhi’s ex. He says, “I think we are the only actors on TV who have featured together in five shows. I even feel that Juhi and I are karmically connected; she has been a part of my life at every crucial juncture. I was shooting for Devi with her when I got married and working on another show when I had my child. The USP of our on-screen jodi is our organic chemistry by virtue of knowing each other for so many years.”.

Manish says that there is something special about purani dosti. 

“What makes actors from my time unique is the fact that our bond is for keeps, even if we don’t meet regularly. And, when we finally meet, we start from where we had left. The best part is that there is no insecurity or attempt to overshadow each other. It’s also because back then, shows ran for several years, which resulted in cementing the team’s bond. These days, we hardly keep in touch with our unit and co-actors after a show wraps up.”, he shared.
