PM Narendra Modi's move to go after black money by declaring Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes invalid took everyone by surprise.

Ever since the announcement, commoners have been facing tad difficulty to get on with their daily chores, however, everyone has been patient and welcoming of the decision.

Capitalising on the black money wave and in an attempt to capture the sentiments of the masses, SAB TV’s two popular shows will play out demonetization tracks in coming episodes.

The rib-ticklers are Chidiya Ghar (Garima Productions) and Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah.

In the coming episode of Taarak Mehta, Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) will receive a bulk order in his electronics business and the dealer would ask him to pay in cash. Hence, he will arrange for the money and keep it in office.

Later, he will get to know about the demonetization news from Popatlal (Shyam Pathak). He will request the dealer to take the hoarded money but will face refusal.

In Chidiya Ghar, the garrulous Narayan family will land themselves in big trouble. After hearing the demonetization news, they would help their friends and family by helping them deal with the ‘extra ‘cash’ scenario. Accidentally, Ghotak (Paresh Ganatra) will get his professional commission in cash. Kappi’s (Saraansh Verma) boss too will ask him to take some of his cash and hoard it. Chidiya Ghar women will collect their savings.

At the end, they would realize that they have a lot of money at home which can create trouble for them. 

And guess what? The income tax officers will get to know about it and raid Chidiya Ghar. 

It will be interesting to watch how Jethalal and the Chidiya Ghar family finally solve this problem, all while doling out humorous lines and scenes.
