Namit Das has climbed up on the popularity ladder via his impressive performances on television and films (was seen in Wake Up Sid). Now, we have learned that this cute looking actor has been signed to play an important role in Hats off Productions’ upcoming show on Life OK, Comedy Family Ki Family Comedy. The story is about a doctor, a surgeon and a nurse. The character of nurse and surgeon are being played by Shruti Bapna and Marathi actor Bharat Ganeshpure, respectively. Now, Namit has been roped in to play the role of the doctor. The plot of the show is a hilarious one wherein the nurse will have a crush on the doctor and the surgeon, rather than concentrating on operation, will give unnecessary gyaan to the doctor and the nurse all the time. Tellychakkar.com got in touch with Namit regarding his entry and he said, “I have shot for the pilot episode but I can’t divulge anything more at this point of time.” The show is slated to go on air in the last week of June or first week of July (2012).
