MUMBAI: Bollywood or even telly-town couples have time and again proved that relationships might not always work but what is important is not to keep any grudges against your ex-partner. Whether it was the split between Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone in Bollywood or Pooja Gor and Raj Singh Arora in telly town, these couples have taught us that we can be good friends even after parting ways. 

Another couple, who had broken up with each other a year ago after dating for 6 years is Rithvik Dhanjani and Asha Negi. After weeks of speculations doing the rounds in the media, Asha Negi had confirmed her breakup with her boyfriend, Rithvik Dhanjani. 

Rithvik and Asha had met each other during their stint on the television show, Pavitra Rishta. However, the approach that Asha and Rithvik have towards their breakup is really commendable. 

In a recent interview, when Asha Negi was asked about her equation with her ex-boyfriend, Rithvik Dhanjani, she very gracefully said that things are pretty good between them and they still share things with each other. She said, "It's good. We both are on good terms and whenever we want to talk to each other, convey something to each other we do that and it's all normal.".

She further added, "He has moved on, I have moved on and I think it's been more than a year now, so we all should move on. You want the other person to be happy, healthy and be at the top successful. I think that's the most important thing. So I think that is great, that we both want the best for each other. That is something which is beautiful and should be there.".

When reports of Rithvik and Asha's breakup began doing the rounds, what added fuel to the fire was a cryptic quote shared on Rithvik's Instagram story. The quote could be read as, "Nothing should go back to normal. Normal wasn't working. If we go back to the way things were, we will have lost the lesson. May we rise up and do better.".

On the work front, Asha will be next seen in an upcoming show, Khwabon Ke Parindey and she is very excited for it to start streaming. When Asha was asked about her upcoming projects, she said that she does not know if it would be right to talk about them now. 

On the other hand, Rithvik is busy hosting the reality show, Super Dancer Chapter 4. 

No wonder, Asha Negi and Rithvik Dhanjani have handled their breakup quite maturely.
