The mid-flight episode between Kapil and Sunil had started with Chandan. Kapil had started to hurl abuses at Chandan in a drunken state. It was then that Sunil intervened. He tried to stop Kapil but the matter went from bad to worse. Unlike Sunil, Chandan has reconciled with Kapil and is seen in TKSS as Chandu chai wala.

In 2020, when the cast of Mahabharat appeared on Kapil's show, Mukesh Khanna chose to give it a miss. Later, the actor took to his social media account to explain his absence. He revealed that he refused the invitation to go as he finds the show 'vulgar'.

Ajay Devgn storms out of Kapil's show
In 2017, Kapil failed to turn up for the shoot of TKSS where Ajay Devgn and team Baadshaho were waiting for him. It was reported that Ajay had walked out of the sets after waiting for the comedian for 15 minutes. Later, Ajay had clarified that he wasn't upset with Kapil as he was going through health issues.

Krushna Abhishek threatens Kapil

He had come dressed in a saree to entertain the guests but after wrapping up his act, he fell on his way back to the wings. This made him threaten Kapil rather angrily to not make him wear a saree again.
