MUMBAI: Well, Parth Samthaan winning the award of Youth Icon 2019 won't come as a surprise to anyone. The handsome actor who is currently seen as Anurag in Kasauti Zindagi Ki is loved crazily by his brigade of crazy fans and lakhs of viewers across the country. He certainly is one of the most loved actors and most of the youngsters look up to him.

Parth who is juggling between Kasauti Zindagi Ki and Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain shoots had to squeeze time out for this award. Parth shares, “I have shot for the last 48 hours from Kasauti to Kehne Ko and back to Kasauti and then to receive the award but I am not complaining and I am rather grateful. 

This is my first award post my 3 year break and this one is dedicated to my mom cause it’s for her I decided to get back to Television and of course for Ekta Kapoor mam and the Balaji family for not only making this a dream launch but continuing this run with so much more coming and taking it towards making this phase iconic. Thank you for the youth icon award this year.”

Kareena Kapoor Khan was the Chief Guest for the evening and it was hosted by TV star Rithvik Dhanjani. Vikas Gupta, Sunil Grover, Harshita Gaur who came in to receive the award for Punchbeat & Mirzapur along with few others were also felicitated at the event.
