Put on your dancing shoes and get ready to groove to the beats of garba when Prime Minister Narendra Modi matches steps with Daya Gada (Disha Vakani) on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah tonight! Yes, you heard it right.

We are talking about THE Narendra Modi, who is a self-confessed fan of the longest running light-hearted comedy show, and has shown interest in being a part of an episode.

We have been informed by our reliable sources that the Prime Minister would be visiting the sets of the show for an impromptu garba session with Daya (Disha Vakani) while inviting the society members to take part in the 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan'.

"It's a dream come true for me," squealed Disha when we got in touch with her for her reaction. "I have always been crazy about garba but never thought my passion would pay off like this.”

When we asked producer Asit Modi how he managed to bring the biggest name on his show, he said, "When I met Modi-ji for the Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan initiative, I invited him to come on the sets." He added further,  "I never expected him to actually take up the offer, so I am thrilled beyond words!"

Wow. That's an offer Modi couldn't refuse, is it?

"Asit bhai is distantly related to Modi-ji so it was not that difficult to get the PM on the show," said our source. "Moreover, he is a big fan of the show and wanted to meet the cast and invite them to take active part in the cleanliness drive."

We coaxed Disha to reveal what sort of steps she would be performing with the politico and she said, "Aye halo! I don't know it myself. I am so nervous as well as exited. I will perform whatever Modi-ji is comfortable repeating!"

The other cast members are equally excited as the ladies of Gokuldham Society plan to join Daya and the PM during their dance performance. "We are so excited. Nobody has talked about anything but the garba for the past two days. We have already started practicing the steps," said Sonalika Joshi who plays Madhvi Bhide on the show.

In fact, the men are also pretty worked up about the big day. Dilip Joshi aka Jayantilal Gada said, "I am happy my onscreen wife is such a garba fanatic. Or else we would never have got this wonder opportunity! The guys and I have planned a surprise welcome performance for Modi-ji."

We simply can't wait for the episode to air tonight on SAB TV.
