The talented and elegant Pooja Gor will now be seen playing the lonely housewife who falls for a younger man in Vikas Gupta’s series of love stories for Disney Bindass, Yeh Hai Aashiqui. The show which has won a lot of appreciation is produced by Lost Boy Productions and BBC Worldwide Productions. The story will be based on the famous Bengali movie Charulata, which again is based upon the novel Nastanirh, by Rabindranath Tagore. While Pooja plays the sulking wife who longs for happiness, Salil Acharya who has done shows like Shararat, Yeh Meri Life Hai, Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Kkavyanjali, and many more will play the husband of Charulata. Handsome hunk Sehban Azim will essay the role of the young lover who will make Charulata fall in love all over again. When contacted, Sehban told us, “I have a final meeting to go, and I will be able to talk only after that.” We tried contacting Pooja Gor, but she was busy. For the uninitiated, Pooja had earlier featured in a cameo appearance in Yeh Hai Aashiqui - the very episode which was directed by Vikas Gupta featuring Rithvik Dhanjani and Mihika Verma. We could not get in touch with Salil too. The shoot for this episodic will start very soon.
