Viewers would know that the story chronicles the journey of a little girl Poteshwari, who is a musical prodigy with a great natural talent. She can sing any tune, learn any music and find rhythm from any noise. But life is not that easy for her.

Poteshwari often has to face pointed questions and remarks about her father having left her mother. From her mother she learns the truth that her father is alive. She also comes to know from her that her father is an established singer.

Her mother before dying says that if she had been a boy, it would have been easier getting her father’s acceptance. And Poteshwari takes these words very seriously.

In order to reach her goal, Poteshwari now will transform into Potol.

Poteshwari will go to the city to establish herself as a singer who wants to be bigger than her father but by hiding her identity. She will go in the disguise of a boy and will name her as Potol Kumar. 

In order to achieve this, she will cut her hair. Upon reaching Kolkata, she will meet Chandan and fate will bring her close to her father’s mystery.

Will her little feet be able to scale this challenging journey? What other obstacles will she face?

Little Hiya, who is essaying the role of Potol, is very excited about the development. 

“I am enjoying playing my character. It is very interesting,” she chirped when quizzed about the transformation.
