MUMBAI: TellyChakkar was the first one to break the news about actress Saumya Tandon might quit her show Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai. And now Saumya has confirmed on making an exit from the show.

As per reports the actress has decided not to renew her contract further and tomorrow happens to be her working day on the sets of Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai. The reason behind moving out of the show she mentioned that she wants to grow as an artiste and do projects where there is scope for growth. She also said she had a beautiful journey on the show. However, she has played this character for five years now and does not see herself doing it for another five years.

The show producer confirmed Benaifer Kohli confirmed the news with us and shared, "Saumya is one of my most loved favourites. Extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. As and when we stop working on this show for various reasons, I wish her the best and look forward to working with her again. She was a happy part of my working family for many years and now my friend too. The fact that me and the channel waited for her in her pregnancy shows our affection for her. I will miss her. Infact so good is my bond with her. I have discussed with her to suggest who will fit best in her role. We have shared a great relationship of love and respect. I thank her for all her contribution to our show “ Bhabiji Ghar Par Hai” and to me personally whenever I needed her. But the end line we both say is “The show must go on” and my team is the best."
