MUMBAI: Madirakshi Mundle has been seen in quite a lot of mythological shows but now she is seen in daily soap Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak. 

In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, she got candid about her roles and preferences in her career. She shared, “Despite doing mythological shows, I have got a good response for my character. I wanted to do a variety of roles and as an actor, wanted to show variation in my characters. I have played positive deity roles and hence when this opportunity came to me for a negative character, I took it up.” (Also Read: Playing Sita on TV was prestigious: Madirakshi Mundle) 

Madirakshi further added, “I was initially skeptical if the audience would like and accept me in a negative role but now I know that doors are open for me to  try varied genres and experiment. Moreover, the director is also very helpful and it is all a team effort.”

When asked if she would quit mythological shows if given good characters and opportunities, Midrakshi expressed, “Mythology has given me  fame, recognition and audience admiration. I will never leave mythology. But yes, I would love to play fictional characters.”

Madirakshi had earlier mentioned how she is enjoying playing a different role. 

She elaborated, “As Madirakshi got to play a different role, she mentioned, “I had a lot of fun when we had to shoot sequences which involved me murdering two to three people with a gun in my hand. But frankly speaking I am glad to get this opportunity as it has opened doors for me to which will get me opportunities not only in mythological roles but also in different fictional roles and genres involving kitchen politics.”
