Four television acting personalities viz Ragini Khanna, Deeya Chopra, Gungun Uprari and Aryan Pandit are celebrating their birthdays today (9 December). Before we go ahead, let’s wish them all a very happy birthday. Firstly, let’s talk to Ragini, who is on cloud nine these days after her Punjabi film Bhaji in Problem had a successful opening. “Well, I had lunch with my family and late in the evening I have arranged get-together at my place where a few of my close friends from the television industry namely Aamir Ali and his wife Sanjeeda, Mouni Roy and Tapeshwari Sharma will join us,” avers Ragini. Can you talk of all gifts that you’ve received? “I am loaded with gifts since yesterday. My birthday was trending on Saturday and Sunday on Twitter which was the best birthday gift I could have ever asked for. My inbox has been flooded with wishes and am truly humbled and would thank everyone for making my birthday so very special,” replied the actress with glee. How do you feel on getting a year older today? “I think I am going backwards. I will always be sweet sixteen all my life,” Ragini quips. Next, shares the gorgeous Deeya Chopra, “There are two reasons to celebrate this special day. Along with my birthday today, the day also happens to be one when my spa Anahata would be opened to the public. This morning there was a puja at the new place where guests have been regularly coming over to wish and congratulate me. I always had a dream of owning business and Delhi being my hometown, I opened my first spa here.” “My sister Roshni and the entire family are there with me to be part of the celebration. This is the best birthday and the best birthday gift of my life,” she adds. Later we got in touch with the lovely lady Gungun Upreri, who is currently seen in Jo Biwi Se Kare Pyaar (SAB TV) and Zee TV’s Buddha, “Last night my family surprised me with a birthday cake at the strike of 12. Right now I am shooting for my show but in the evening we have arranged for a house party where friends and family will come in. Birthdays are incomplete without gifts and my husband has gifted me a new Duster car. And many more gifts are to come by end of the day,” she avers. Lastly, for Aryan Pandit, who is currently seen in Sahara One’s Aakhir Bahu Bhee Toh Beti Hee Hai, it’s a work plus party birthday. The actor had a blast last night at his pad with his close pals from the industry and others. But then he got back to work this morning. “I am on the sets but just hope that I get to leave early as I want to party hard with my friends,” observes Aryan. Too many parties and cakes are awaiting the good looking star however he does not dislike a working birthday. “So many people come down to Mumbai in search of work but I am one of those lucky few who have got work and don’t think I should ignore work on this special day of mine,” he maintains.
