Raj Nayak's 'Aashiqui' with Ekta Kapoor

Raj Nayak and Ekta Kapoor

Raj Nayak and Ekta Kapoor are the biggies of the industry.

The CEO of Colors, Raj and the Joint Managing Director of Balaji Telefilms, Ekta, are the stalwarts in the television industry.

Their joint ventures have always entertained us. From Parichay to Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi to Naagin, they have brought a smile on viewers’ face whenever they have come together.

And once again, the duo has joined hands to do wonders with the second season of Box Cricket League.

Professionals par excellence, the dynamic duo also has a funny side.

Recently, at the launch of BCL, the two masterminds shared the stage and the media questioned Ekta on joining hands with Raj once again. And the lady was all praises for the channel. “I don’t think anyone has any doubt on the fact that Colors is the most trusted, probably the most aggressive channel on Indian television, that started last and reached the top. In seven or eight years Colors has shown us exactly how to do and what to do?”

TV Czarina also candidly added, “I told Raj sir that I love BCL and I love him as well. So, I wanted two loves of mine to meet (all smiles).”

If the cheesy, smart answer of Ekta melted your heart, then wait till you read Raj’s reply. The boss man of Colors with his inimitable gentle smile said, “See Ekta, you know that Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi (sic) (referring to the show).”

Well, that for sure was a witty answer Mr. Nayak and a big thumbs up to your subtle sense of humour.

And we whole heartedly wish the romance between Colors and Balaji blooms so that we get to witness some more superb entertaining shows in coming days. Amen to that!!!
