MUMBAI: One of the longest running shows on television, Rajan Shahi’s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (Star Plus) has touched another milestone in its long journey. The show has completed 2700 episodes, and the team cannot be happier. Rajan and the cast and crew’s happiness was evident in the celebrations they had recently.

A special havan was performed to commemorate the show’s achievement on the set on Friday afternoon (27 July). This was followed by naach gaana by the entire team. A special cake with the number 2700 was also arranged to be cut by the team.

‘I would like to thank the entire team for the great efforts that they have been putting in since so many years. It is because of them that the show is a success. Along with this, I would also like to thank the avid viewers of the show. You make us what we are today,’ an elated Rajan said. His mother Deepa Shahi was spotted in a happy mood, and the star cast took blessings from her.

Apart from reel and real-life couple Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi, other members of the team including Vishal Singh, Sachin Tyagi, Parul Chauhan, Shilpa Raizada, Vaishnavi Rao, Alok Nath, and Kshitee Jog were also present.
