Ravi Kishan regrets for not being casted in Gangs of Wasseypur on the sets of The Kapil Sharma Show

MUMBAI: Bhojupur and Hindi cinema actor Ravi Kishan known for his humor will be soon seen on Sony Entertainment Television’s comedy show The Kapil Sharma Show. Accompanying him will be handsome actor John Abraham and beautiful actress Mrunal Thakur to promote their upcoming movie Batla House. While having an entertaining time the trio will be seen revealing some hidden secrets from their personal and professional life. In the meantime, they will also express on-screen and off-screen bonds with Batla House co-actors.

In a candid conversation Kapil tried to enquire about a rumor that Anurag Kashyap is always afraid of casting Ravi Kishan in his movies. Confirming the same, Ravi mentions, “Yes, funnily this true, but I was surprised to when got to know about the reason. A random rumor that made around the corner was that I am an actor who throws tantrums on the set and likes to be treated like a King.  Which is absolutely a rumor.” Ravi cleared the rumor with Anurag and later was casted for Mukkabaz. He further adds, “Anurag wanted to cast me for Gangs of Wasseypur, but he didn’t approach me for it as he had an unflattering image of me in his mind. I have a big-time regret for this as I was very much willing to be part of such a powerful movie.”

Later in the show, Ravi expressed, “Today on The Kapil Sharma Show I am laughing after almost 5 months”. Ravi has recently been chosen as member of parliament and was busy with on-ground election campaigning. Hence he had a hectic and tiring months. Talking about his films, he said he has done over 600 Bhojpuri and Hindi films but Batla House is a film in which he actually cried while dubbing the voice overs.
