MUMBAI: Known for shows like Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyaar, and Tu Sooraj Main Saanjh Piyaji, Rhea Sharma is one of the popular faces of small screen. Her new project is Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke, and she is excited for the show.
Yeh Rishtey Hain Pyaar Ke is Star Plus's popular show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s spin off. Rhea will be seen playing the lead role of Mishti, Naira's sworn sister, in the upcoming show. She will be seen opposite Shaheer Sheikh. The promo featuring Rhea went on air recently, and Shivangi Joshi aka Naira herself introduced her.
In an interview with an entertainment portal, Rhea said that she was looking for something that was popular and grand like her previous show which was also on Star Plus. When she was approached for the spin off, she realised that the character is different from what she has played before. She further shared with the portal that mainly the character, the script, Rajan Shahi (maker of the show), and the association with Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai made her extremely excited for the show so she gave her nod.
The actress is hopeful that the audience will like the story as she said to media, “I think the storyline will attract a lot of audiences.”
According to reports, the shooting of the show will begin today (February 22, 2019). Yesterday, the team did a hawan on the sets. Take a look at the pictures below:
