Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum will soon return with season 2! 

This Shashi Sumeet Productions’ venture will have a new star cast with a different storyline. 

Tellychakkar.com has already reported about Madhubala fame Avinesh Rekhi being signed to play the male lead.

Now, we have been told that the search for the female lead is over with Rhea Sharma signing the dotted lines. 

Rhea, beautiful and brazen, has earlier been part of TV shows namely Kahaani Humari and Itna Karo Na Mujhe Pyar and was last seen in Sushant Singh Rajput starrer MS Dhoni. 

We made an attempt to reach out to Rhea for a comment but she remained unavailable, however we have learnt the show will go on floors from end of this month.

After witnessing the fabulous chemistry of Anas Rashid and Deepika Singh in season 1, gear up to relish breezy romance of Avinesh and Rhea.

Other actors who are also a part of the drama are Mayank Arora and Kabeer Kumar.
