Actor Rohit Bakshi is known for his charismatic look and challenging roles that he has portrayed so far on the small screen. Recently, the man was seen playing the reality show host in Star Plus’ popular show Ek Veer Ki Ardaas – Veera. 

Now, Rohit will essay a very interesting never-done-before role in Zee TV’s upcoming super hero series, Devi. The show will be produced by Esselvision Productions under the creative guidance of Nilanjana Purkayasstha. 

Tellychakkar.com has earlier reported about Indraneil Sengupta playing the main negative force in the show, with seasoned actress Komolika Guha Thakurta playing a prominent character. 

News coming in is that Rohit has been roped in to play a very positive character, who would influence Devi in a positive way. 

A source states, “Rohit has signed on the dotted lines, and is all set to play a significant role.”

When contacted, Rohit confirmed the news to Tellychakkar.com saying, “Yes, I will be seen in this contemporary saga of good v/s evil. I will be seen essaying a positive role.”

We dropped a message to the Zee TV spokesperson, but did not get any revert.

As reported by us, Devi will be launched as the second story in the trilogy of super heroes, post the culmination of Maharakshak Aaryan. Devi is expected to launch in March.
