Roopal Tyagi is presently on ‘cloud nine’ after having celebrated her birthday in style, that too in the beautiful locales of Maldives. Yes, the pretty lass whose birthday was on 6 October had planned a family vacation in Maldives, and had a wonderful time out there. Says Roopal in an excited tone, “This has to be my best birthday ever. My family made it possible for me to enjoy the perfect holiday in Maldives. It could not have been better, as I am a complete water baby. I simply love the oceans and beaches (smiles). I have never seen such fabulous fishes, that too so close to my eyesight.” Talking about her adventurous escapades underwater, Roopal states, “I did everything possible in the water. I enjoyed snorkeling, para sailing. The weather there was a bit hot, but it was more or less similar to Mumbai’s weather. So there was not much of a difference.” On the celebration she had on her birthday, she avers, “The hotel authorities knew it was my birthday. So they had organized a cake, with champagne and a nice dinner table for my family. So I was thrilled to celebrate with my family.” Ask her about the gifts she received, and she immediately thanked her fans for sending her loads of wishes and gifts. “One of my fans has in fact named a star by my name in the Libran Galaxy. It was so nice of the fan to give me such a huge compliment. A friend gifted me a very cute painting of mine. My parents gifted me with a lot of stuff. I received various stones, books and magazines as gifts from fans. My friends gave me purses, jewelry, boxes etc. Overall, I have to say that this was the most relaxing phase for me, as we actors always tend to live under extreme stress and pressure.” The bubbly and chirpy girl landed in Mumbai in the wee hours of the night and reported to the shoot of her Zee TV show, Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke the next morning. “I am back to the grind, and I must say I love this phase of shoot in my show. The original flavour of the show is back, with the focus yet again on Gunjan’s college. Above all, I have a new look in the show. I look younger, and I love wearing those dresses that I am wearing. Viewers have seen Gunjan going through major shock and depression, and now she has completely lost her memory. She does not remember her marriage to Mayank (Ankit Gera), and goes to college and lives with her father. The show took the six months leap on my birthday (smiles).” What lies ahead in the track? “Aah, I certainly have no clue. But all I know is that Mayank will try to woo Gunjan all over again.
