Saahil Uppal

Young lad Saahil Uppal who entertained one and all as the spunky Kabeer in Channel V’s P.S. I Hate You, will soon be back in action!!

The young lad has bagged a predominant role in Zee TV’s upcoming show on superheroes, Maharakshak Devi. Produced by Esselvision Productions and creatively handled by Nilanajana Purkayasstha, the show has already cast big names Rohit Bakshi, Indraneil Sengupta, Umang Jain, Rushiraj Pawar, Komolika Guha Thakurta.

Now joining the cast will be Saahil. He will play the confidante, close buddy and brother to the main protagonist Gauri (Umang).

A reliable source tells us, “Saahil will be a youngster studying in college. He will be a positive fun-loving guy who would be able to solve all critical problems. Named Tiger, his character will be the typical ‘vehicle’ for Devi to wage her fights and win over injustice.”

When contacted, Saahil confirmed the news by saying, “Yes, I am excited to be part of Devi. All I can say is that I will be playing an important role.”
