MUMBAI: Holi, celebrated nationwide as a festival of colours, is a time of immense joy and happiness. However, amidst the excitement, it is vital to remember the importance of skincare to protect your skin from the potential harm that can be caused by synthetic colours. With this in mind, the artists of Sony SAB graciously reveal their skincare routines, encouraging everyone to enjoy the festivities with radiant and healthy skin, while also adding a layer of protection to their skins.

Aditi Rathore, essaying the role of Tanvi Sharma in Aangan Aapno Kaa, says, “It's important to safeguard your skin while embracing the vibrant colours of Holi. As an actor, I rely on a simple yet powerful ritual: a generous layer of moisturiser and sunscreen. Let's celebrate Holi while also protecting our skin, ensuring every performance shines as brightly as our spirits.”

Samar Vermani, essaying the role of Akash Awasthi, says, “Holi is just around the corner, and like everyone else, I'm eagerly anticipating the festivities filled with colours. As an actor, I have to extra care of my skin. Pre-holi, I apply lots of moisturiser and sunscreen. I take special care of my beard by applying olive oil or beard oil to it. It is also important to wear full-sleeve clothes while playing holi in the sun to avoid tanning. After playing with colours, I use a mild cleanser mild soap and lukewarm water to remove colour and then moisturise it further. However, the best precaution while playing holi is to use only organic colours."

Garima Parihar, essaying the role of Dipti in Pushpa Impossible says, “I always start my Holi festivities by applying coconut oil on my face. It's my secret weapon against colour stains, making it easier to cleanse after a fun-filled celebration. Let's cherish this festival responsibly, ensuring that our celebrations are not only joyful but also mindful of our impact on both us and the world around us. Happy Holi!”

Chinmayee Salvi, essaying the role of Sakhi Wagle in Wagle Ki Duniya, says, “As an actor, my skin goes through a lot, especially during the festive season like Holi. Amidst the colors and celebrations, I always rely on a simple yet effective skincare routine. I start with a generous application of coconut oil, to protect and nourish my skin. Then, seal it with a hydrating moisturizer, ensuring that my skin stays supple and radiant throughout the festivities.”
