Sandeep Aanand is 'passionate' about cricket...

Sandeep Aanand

Sandeep Aanand, the protagonist of Life OK’s May I Come In Madam is a big fan of the game of ‘cricket’.

Yes, we are still to get out of the hangover created by the recent season of IPL. But for Sandeep, his passion for the game lives and grows within him always...

And do you know that Sandeep carries with him a bat and ball in his car every time he steps out of home?

True, this! And we now give room for Sandeep to answer why he does so...

“I am very passionate about cricket, and I love playing the game. It is very special to me, because I grew up watching the game and playing it. In fact, I wanted to be part of it, but I was not a Sachin Tendulkar. So I was quick to realize that I had to do what I was best at, and thus acting happened. I have a bat and ball in my car always. And on the set of my show too, I play the game whenever I have free time. It is a stress buster, you see.  And everyone in my set loves playing with me,” explains Sandeep.

Ask him about his favourite cricketers, and he avers, “Sachin has been my favourite always. I like Dhoni for his leadership quality. And now, Kohli seems to be doing a great job.”

“Cricket is one game that connects everyone in this country. So I want it to happen on my set too. And when we play together, it gives us a feeling of closeness, and creates a lively and friendly atmosphere on the set. It also helps in motivating people to do better,” adds the actor.

Way to go, Sandeep!!
