We have been constantly reporting about actors who have been contracting the Coronavirus. In an unfortunate turn of events, the past few days saw many TV actors testing Covid positive.

Another celebrity who couldn't escape from the novel Coronavirus is popular TV actor Manav Gohil. Yes, you heard it right!

Manav has been tested positive for Covid while shooting for his current TV show Shaadi Mubarak which airs on Star Plus.

The actor has isolated himself as soon as he learnt about the same.

The show's producers Shashi and Sumeet Mittal issued a joint statement regarding the same which read: “Actor Manav Gohil who is an integral part of the TV show Shaadi Mubarak has tested positive for COVID-19. As soon as the symptoms were detected, he received medical help and has quarantined himself. Immediately thereupon the entire cast & crew were isolated and tested. The BMC is informed and the sets will be fumigated and sterilized as per the protocol. We are constantly in touch with the entire team as their health is our priority. We stand by our commitment to safety and will continue to ensure that all measures prescribed by the authorities are being adhered to.”

Well, we wish Manav a speedy recovery!

Before Manav, a bunch of TV actors like Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey, Aashish Mehrotra, Alpana Buch, Nidhi Shah, Arjit Taneja, Kanchi Singh, Kanika Mann, Vipul Roy, Mishkat Verma among others was tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus.
