Fireworks Productions’ very popular show, Shapath on Life OK has been entertaining one and all for four years now.

The show will enter a brand new phase in the coming month, with the start of a new series titled ‘Nonu and Chamcham’... The story will revolve around a small boy who would one fine day find an entity while digging his father’s land using a plough. Soon the entity will start to fulfil the dream of this boy in making him huge whenever needed.

Playing the role of the boy will be child artiste Varun Buddhadev, who has been seen in noted commercial ads for Yippee Noodles, Horlicks, Kinder Joy to name a few.

This series, we hear will go on air from 19 March. It will also see the entry of a new cop, by name Nitin Chauhan. As we know, two new cops Gurpreet Bedi and Zaan Khan have already entered the show. The trio, Gurpreet, Zaan and Nitin will be getting centre space in this new series.

As per reliable sources, “The new track with a child character playing the central role is actually targetted at kids, and is touted to get huge numbers, considering the fan following that the show has amongst the tiny tots.”

When contacted, Varun’s mother confirmed the news to us saying, “Yes, Varun will be seen in the new series of Shapath in a special role.”

As for Nitin, he has featured in episodics of Crime Patrol, and his stint in Shapath will be his first ever appearance in a series format.

When contacted, Nitin shared details with us saying, “Yes, I got selected for the role of a super cop. My passion has always been stunts, and I was more than willing to join the team of Shapath. I always enjoy taking risks, and I look forward to a great journey with Shapath.”
