Shashank Sethi can’t stop thanking his lucky stars these days. Why? Well, this Afsar Bitiya actor (Raakesh Paswan’s show on Zee TV) came unscathed from a scary car accident. Here’s what unfolded on that harrowing day. Wait…wait…wait…let’s hear it from Shashank himself. “It was an unfortunate incident. I was returning from Madh Island, Mumbai, after completing my shooting on Tuesday (17 April 2012). I was traveling with one of my creatives and my make up man. Suddenly a speeding truck rammed into my car. Thanks to my driver and his presence of mind he applied brakes immediately and we averted a major mishap. But it was scary,” recounts the actor. He further continues, “The truck raced ahead and I could not note down its number. But I am happy that no one got hurt. After all, jaan hai toh jahan hai.” However, his car suffered a major damage. “I have an insurance policy so hopefully the damage will be recovered,” he ends.
