MUMBAI: Namak Ishq Ka is one of the most loved and successful shows on television, and the story keeps the audiences hooked. 

The show is produced by Gul Khan and Deepti Kalwani under the banner of 4 Lions Films and airs on Colors. It stars Shruti Sharma and Aditya Ojha. 

The audiences love to watch the love story between Chamcham and Yug. 

The character of Chamcham is very strong and level headed. She stands for right and fights when things are going wrong. 

But did you know that before the makers finalized Shruti Sharma, it was offered to a few actresses who refused the role?

1. Aditi Sharma

2. Rhea Sharma

3. Karishma Tanna

4. Krishna Mukherjee

Krishna is best known for his performance in Yeh Hai Mohabaatein and Kuch Toh Hai: Naagin Ek Naye Rang Mein. She too was offered the role of Chamcham, but post the audition she didn’t fit the bill and things didn’t work between her and the makers. 

5. Surbhi Jyoti

Surbhi is best known for her performance in serials like Qubool Hai and Naagin 3. She too was offered the role of Chamcham but she declined as she was busy in her other projects. 

Well, in the end, the role was bagged by Shruti Sharma, and fans feel she is the perfect choice for the role and no one could do justice to Chamcham the way she did.
