MUMBAI: Kasam Se fame Siddharth Vasudev is set to spread his magic on TV with &TV’s fantasy-based show Vikram Betaal Ki Rahasya Gatha, which is produced by Peninsula Pictures.

According to our sources, Siddharth has been roped in to play Vishwamitra’s character in the show.

The story will revolve around Vashisht, played by Ravi Gossain, who is the Maharishi and the most knowledgeable sage all time. Vishwamitra, in order to be the supreme one, will order Vashisht to work for him, which the latter refuses. Vishwamitra can't tolerate this rejection and ends up killing 100 sons of Vashisht.

Over a period of time, Vishwamitra seeks solace and eventually undergoes the biggest transition in life: from a ruler to a Maharishi.
